More than 3,000 participants marched and rode down Forest Hill Blvd. Sunday before an estimated 20,000 people in the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce's 30th annual Holiday Parade in Wellington.

More than 100 entries, including floats, marching bands, decorated vehicles, equestrians, civic groups were part of the parade commemorating the theme “An Old-Fashioned Holiday.” Marching bands from Wellington, Palm Beach Central, Seminole Ridge, Royal Palm Beach, Glades Central, John I. Leonard and Park Vista high schools entertained, along with musical groups ad bands for smaller schools and churches.

Grand Marshall Jarrod Saltalamacchia, a Royal Palm Beach High School alumnus who just signed to catch for the Miami Marlins, led the parade in a horse-drawn carriage along with his wife and three daughters.

Following the parade, Santa and parade viewers enjoyed performances and the lighting of the Wellington Christmas tree at the village amphitheater.
